Upgrade Quest is a short game made in RPG Maker XP. The goal of the game is to unlock the final stage by upgrading everything in the game (the Game Level, Enemies, Music, System Graphics, Player Damage, the Mission Objective and the actual Upgrade Screen). To do this the player needs to earn Gold by completing levels.

Puzzle Blade is a Game Concept I wrote about on a previous blog - the aim was to combine two genres into one whilst keeping Gameplay fluid. This site contains the general concept of the game, which I aim to recreate in Game Maker 8, once I've learned how to code!

Welcome to my website! Here you will find my portfolio and contact details and soon a Blog detailing any new updates. I'm a Video Games design student currently in my 2nd Year and the University of Teesside (BA Creative Digital Media) looking for an internship in the Games Industry. I'm currently learning how to use Game Maker 8 and looking into XNA so I can start creating real games instead of concepts. Bio: I've loved the idea of designing Video Games since I was about six or seven years old. It was only until my first year of University at MMU Cheshire that I actually thought of seriously doing it, and I haven't looked back. I'm a keen designer with a relatively open mind when it comes to Video Games with a simple philosophy: If it's fun it works. I enjoy most manner of games (both computer games and other non-electronic forms of gaming) but particularly enjoy Roleplaying Games and the Fantasy genre.
